07 June 2013The Specialist Training Of Faisalabad Agricultural University Veterinary Faculty Students Has Been Completed
The second group of students from the Faısalabad Agricultural University Veterinary Faculty, in the Punjab State of Pakistan, completed their specialty training with the “Veterinary Clinics” course supported by the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency and organized at the Konya Selçuk University Veterinary Faculty on May 18-31.
Since 2010, the cooperation between Turkey and Pakistan concerning urgent aid in the fields of technical cooperation and project programs have continued to gain speed with the contributions of TIKA. In this context, a number of knowledge exchange and specialty training programs have been organized to date within the scope of the cooperation between TIKA and Pakistan.
The “Project to Alleviate Poverty and Empower Women in Rural Areas through Goat Farming”, projected to last for five years in 2012, was started under the collaboration of TIKA and the Faisalabad Agricultural University. It was planned that two groups of 15, graduated from the Faisalabad Agricultural University Veterinary Faculty, would receive their specialty training in Turkey within the scope of this project. The first of the aforementioned training programs took place at the Konya Selçuk University Veterinary Faculty in March.
The second specialty course for a group of 15 graduated from the Faisalabad Agricultural University Veterinary Faculty was completed in the 13 day Veterinary Clinics training course at the Konya Selçuk University Veterinary Faculty.
