TİKA Established the “Jazari Lab” at Tajik Technical University named after M.S.Osimi

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) established the “Jazari Lab” at Tajik Technical University named after M.S.Osimi in order to enable students and academics to carry out 3D design and production activities and R&D studies.

Implemented in several countries by TİKA, the “Jazari Lab” project brings together classical production methods and new technologies and enables academics, researchers, and university students to carry out prototype design and production activities and R&D studies.

As part of the project implemented in Tajikistan, the Agency provided 3D printers, scanners, laser cutting machines, CNC routers, desktop lathes, bench drills, computers, digital microscopes, robotic training sets, and all other necessary mechanical-electronic equipment to the Jazari Lab.

After the construction of the laboratory, all the equipment of which was brought from Türkiye, experts assigned by TİKA taught 2-week training courses on the said devices, the relevant software, 3D design and printing, and robotics programming for 20 faculty members selected from the relevant departments at the University.

After the training, certificates were presented to the trainees at a ceremony attended by Prof. Kudrat Davlatzoda, Rector of Tajik Technical University named after M.S.Osimi.
