Within the scope of the training where our country's experiences on issues such as safety awareness, the emergence of infectious diseases and preventive measures, control of infections, people with special needs and the effects of disasters, the roles and responsibilities of community-based leaders are shared, interactive training methods and techniques were also communicated to the participants, who are currently providing training and who will provide training in the future. The organized training program also contributed to the exchange of experience and knowledge among the participating countries themselves.

Participants who came to our country within the scope of the training program also visited TİKA Presidency and the Turkish Red Crescent Etimesgut Campus and had the opportunity to get detailed information about the activities of the institutions. At the end of the program, participants were given certificates.

This project, which is the first tangible outcome of the cooperation realized after Türkiye became a Dialogue Partner of IORA in 2018, is expected to serve to create disaster-resilient societies in the participating countries, and in the future, other projects are expected to be carried out in member countries with the contribution of TİKA.
