Built within Construction Technology Training Institute (CTTI) in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Cezeri Laboratory was put into service with a ceremony.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Republic of Türkiye’s Ambassador to Islamabad, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Paçacı; President of CTTI, Major-General Abdul Salih; Director of CTTI, Atıf Celal; TİKA’s Coordinator in Islamabad, Muhsin Balcı; authorities from the Institute; and the students.

The 3D printers, 3D scanners, laser cutting and CNC cutting machines, lathes, bench drills, computers, digital microscopes, robotic training sets, and all other necessary mechanical-electronic equipment in the Cezeri Lab were provided by Türkiye.

The experts commissioned by TİKA gave a two-week training on how to use the machinery and the equipment, 3D design and modeling, and robotic coding to the lecturers and students who work at various institute departments.

Carried out by TİKA, the “Cezeri Lab” project enables the academic staff, researchers, and students to work on research development along with design and production. Implemented in several countries by TİKA, the “Cezeri Lab” project takes inspiration from Ismail al-Jazari, who is considered “Father of Robotics” by the authorities worldwide.
