First Lady Emine Erdoğan Inaugurated the Computer Lab Built by TİKA in Algeria

Visiting Algeria with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Emine Erdoğan inaugurated the computer lab built by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Arezki Adjoud Primary School.

Attending the inauguration ceremony of the computer lab of the school, Emine Erdoğan watched the children’s performances, visited the classrooms, and received information about TİKA’s refurbishment and technical equipment support.

“The 21st Century Will Be Better for Africa”

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony attended by the Minister of Culture of Algeria Khalida Toumi, Emine Erdoğan expressed her pleasure at being in Algeria, a friendly and sister country. She said, “Africa is moving towards the future with its natural riches, cultural background, and friendly people. I hope the 21st century will be better for Africa.”

Stressing that the more technological opportunities the new generations will have, the more they will be ready for the future and achieve success, Emine Erdoğan said, “Today, we are inaugurating the computer lab built by TİKA, our country’s friendly hand. I would like to congratulate those who have contributed to the project. I hope it will be beneficial for our children and contribute to their school lives.”

Mayor of Casbah Ammar Zetili delivered a speech at the ceremony and thanked Turkey and TİKA. TİKA’s Deputy President Serkan Kayalar informed the guests about the school and TİKA’s activities.

Hülya Çavuşoğlu, the wife of Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, and Şule Akar, the wife of Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, also accompanied Emine Erdoğan at the inauguration.
