Sainbuyan, Vice Prime Minister of Mongolia, thanked TİKA for Its Support

Amarsaikhan Sainbuyan, Vice Prime Minister of Mongolia, stated that Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) makes a significant contribution to the improvement of the relations between the two countries and development of Mongolia.   

Sainbuyan, Vice Prime Minister of Mongolia welcomed Zafer Ateş, the ambassador of Türkiye in Mongolia, Dr. Ümit Naci Yorulmaz, Vice President of TİKA and the delegation accompanying them in the Parliament. Sainbuyan said that the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Türkiye and Mongolia was celebrated in 2019 and the commercial and economic relations between two countries have been consistently developing since then.

Indicating that TİKA makes a significant contribution to the improvement of the relations between the two countries and development of Mongolia, Sainbuyan thanked the ambassador, Ateş and TİKA for their support.    

Yorulmaz, on the other hand, said that TİKA started its projects and activities in Mongolia with the Turkish Statues Project in 1994 and since 2004 it has been carrying out its projects and activities in the region through its program coordination office.  

Yorulmaz explained that Ulanbator Program Coordination Office has undertaken a total of 770 projects and activities in diverse fields including education, health, production, agriculture, administrative and civilian infrastructure, shared history and cultural values, water and hygiene, economy and humanitarian aid. Yorulmaz underlined that such projects contribute to the development of friendly relations between the two countries.
