14 October 2016Support to Women's Employment at Jowzjan Afghanistan
Vocational Course Program for women maintained by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) successfully completed at Jowzjan Province. Program designated in cooperation with Jowzjan Provincial Directorate of Women Services; on computer, sewing, decoration and Quran reciting for six months period.
100 trainees received their certificates during the ceremony organized at Directorate of Women Service. Head of Provincial Directorate of Women Services Necibe Kureyşi, Jowzjan Province Head of Peace Committee Muhammad Akram, TİKA Coordinator in Mazar-i-Sharif Zeki Bulduk, Rector of the Jowzjan University Mesud Hakbin attended to the ceremony.
TİKA Coordinator Zeki Bulduk restated the importance of empowerment of women in social and economic life. Bulduk mentioned that TİKA will continue to support vocational courses for women throughout the North Afghanistan, in all provinces.
Head of Provincial Directorate of Women Services Necibe Kureyşi congratulated successful trainees and appreciated TİKA’s effective support for women empowerment.
