Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) built a sensory room in Lviv Regional Children’s Psychoneurology Dispensary.
TİKA built and equipped a sensory therapy room to provide rehabilitation services to 50 children with neurological and mental disorders in Lviv Regional Children’s Psychoneurology Dispensary.
A projector, a control module, an interactive floor with sensory and developmental programs to be used in the rehabilitation of children, an interactive touchscreen, a foam ball pit, a sensory LED lighting system, and other equipment were provided for the therapy room as part of the project.
TİKA implemented a similar project in Ukraine last year and built sensory rooms in Kiev City Solomianska Children's Clinical Hospital No. 4.
Sensory therapy facilitates the socialization of children with neurological disorders and their integration into society.
