TİKA Establishes Marbling Art Training Workshop for Women in Herat

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), in collaboration with the Kemalgerayan Behzad Art Research Center, has launched a two-month marbling art training workshop for women tailors in Herat, Afghanistan.

The workshop provided marbling art training to 200 women, focusing on applications for headscarves, paper, dresses, shawls and other items.

The marbled products were showcased at the World Tourism Day exhibition, organized in cooperation with TİKA’s Office in Herat and the Herat Culture Directorate, where they garnered significant attention.

The training aims to enhance women’s artistic skills, empower them economically and promote their active participation in social life.
