TİKA Shares the Abundance of Ramadan in Georgia

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided food parcels to Muslim families in Georgia to uphold the spirit of solidarity during Ramadan.

TİKA distributed food parcels to 1,500 families across the country, including disadvantaged groups, the elderly, orphans, and low-income households.

The parcels were delivered to those in need in the Marneuli, Kvemo Kartli, Kakheti, and Adjara regions. Representatives of the Administration of All Muslims of Georgia attended the distribution program and expressed their gratitude for Türkiye and TİKA’s ongoing support for Muslim communities in the region.

The families who received TİKA’s food parcels expressed their gratitude to Türkiye and TİKA, emphasizing that this gesture of support during the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan holds great significance.

TİKA continues to implement humanitarian aid and development projects in many countries, particularly in Georgia, offering hope to those in need. These efforts, aimed at preserving the spirit of unity and solidarity during Ramadan, also help strengthen bonds of friendship and brotherhood by bringing communities together across different countries.
