TİKA Supports Families in Refugee Camps in Iraq

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) distributed food parcels to 300 families living in refugee camps in the Amiriyah al-Sumud district of Iraq’s Anbar province.

The distribution ceremony at the Jurf al-Sakhar and Avveysat refugee camps was attended by TİKA’s Coordinator in Iraq, Oğuzhan Dinler; and the District Governor of Amiriyah al-Sumud, Dr. Shakir Mahmoud Ubeyd.

In his speech, District Governor Ubeyd expressed his gratitude to TİKA and the Turkish people for providing food aid to displaced families during Ramadan.

TİKA remains committed to improving the living conditions of refugees in the region, not only by meeting their basic needs but also through ongoing humanitarian aid initiatives.
