The “Cezeri Studio” Was Established in Afrin

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination agency (TİKA) established the “Cezeri Studio” within the Public Education Center in the city of Afrin, Syria.

Established with the inspiration of Ismail al-Jazari, the creator of the “Do It Yourself” trend who lived in the 13th century and is considered “The Father of Robotics” by world authorities, the “Cezeri Studio” has been established in cooperation with the Directorate of Afrin Public Education Center and the Multi-Aid Programs (MAPs) Association.

In the laboratory, equipped with devices such as computers, 3D printers, CNC laser cutting machines, drone building kits, robotic training sets and various mechanical-electronic tools, training on the usage of devices and robotic coding was given to 15 engineering students from Afrin, Al-Bab, and Idlib for two weeks by experts assigned by TİKA.

During the training sessions, participants gained skills in 3D design, the usage of 3D printers, some various manufacturing techniques along with developing electro-mechanical projects.

Participants who successfully completed the program received their certificates at the ceremony.

Expressing their gratitude to TİKA, participants stated that the courses to be held at the “Cezeri Studio” are anticipated to contribute to tech-savvy young people in the region to unleash their potential.
