TİKA Continues to Support Education in Afghanistan

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided educational, sports and hardware equipment support to the education center in Afghanistan.

Materials provided by TİKA to the Afghanistan Education Center, where nearly 60 orphans and children from families in need study, were delivered.

TİKA’s Coordinator in Kabul, Fazıl Akın Erdoğan; Managers of the Afghanistan Education Center, personnel from TİKA Kabul Office, teachers working at the education center and students attended the delivery ceremony.

The delivered materials include bunk beds, regular beds, bed linens, carpets, air conditioners, fridges, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, desk-chair sets, computers, computer desks, study tables, bookcases and table tennis equipment.

Students attending the center are mostly high school, university-preparatory school or university students. Apart from religious education, the center provides Turkish, English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, sports and ethics courses.
