TİKA Delivered Food Packages to People in Need in Georgia

1,250 food packages containing basic food and prepared by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) were delivered to families in need.

Within the scope of the “Ramadan Programs” held in Georgia, TİKA has collaborated with the “Administration of All Muslims of Georgia” and distributed a total of 1,250 food packages to our compatriots and families in need residing in Batumi, Khulo, Shuakhevi, Keda, Samtredia, Ozurgeti, Mingrelia, Marneuli, Gardabani, Dmanisi, Bolnisi, Adigeni, Pankisi, Kvareli, Tsalka, Akhaltsikhe, Aspindza and Tbilisi.

The Mufti of Eastern Georgia, Etibar Eminov, who attended the aid distribution event in Marneuli, emphasized that Ramadan is a holy month for Muslims, and underscored the importance of friendship and solidarity.

Stating that this solidarity between Türkiye and Georgia creates a strong foundation for the relations of the two countries, Eminov expressed that these special times reinforce feelings of regional peace and brotherhood.
