At the second stage of the Ramadan aid implemented by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Moldova, food parcels were delivered to 1,500 families in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia.
TİKA’s Ramadan program continues in Moldova. Within the program, food parcels were delivered to 1,500 families in need residing in the regions of Comrat, Ceadîr-Lunga and Vulcănești in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia.
Türkiye’s Consul Genereal to Comrat, Adnan Hayal; TİKA’s Coordinator, Tarık Mete, regional governors and mayors attended the delivery ceremonies.
Food parcels were delivered to all villages of Gagauzia and handed out to families in need.
Food parcels to be delivered to 4,000 families in Moldova
The food parcel distribution organized every Ramadan by TİKA has been planned to be delivered to a total of 4,000 families across Moldova this year.
The distributions have started in the capital Chișinău, and continued in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia. The Ramadan aid will have been completed with the final distributions in the city of Bălți.
