TİKA Distributed 2,500 Ramadan Parcels in Bangladesh

Within the Ramadan programs implemented by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Bangladesh, 2,500 food parcels containing essential needs were distributed to families in need across the country.

The second and final stage of aid provided to low-income families, students in orphanages, disabled people and Rohingya Muslims within the scope of this year’s Ramadan programs in Bangladesh, has concluded with distributions held in the regions of Khulna, Noakhali and Bhola in the south and in the region of Sreemangal in the north.

Deputies from the regions, municipal officials and representatives from NGOs attended the distribution ceremonies of 2,500 food parcels across the country.

TİKA has also been serving hot iftar dinners to 1,000 families living in refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh during Ramadan.
