TİKA Shares the Abundance of Ramadan in Nepal

Within the “Ramadan Programs” organized by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Nepal, food parcels consisting of basic necessities were delivered to 500 families in the south of the country.

Within TİKA’s Ramadan program, food parcels were distributed in Nepal, one of the poorest countries in the world according to UN data.

Families in need were identified in 45 villages in the southern part of the country, and food parcels were distributed in the cities of Birgunj, Parsagadhi and Gujara.

Ramadan parcels containing essential food such as rice, flour, dates, lentils, sugar and oil were delivered to families in need.

Many local administrators also attended and supported the distribution programs.
