TİKA Provides Equipment to the International Balkan University in North Macedonia

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) has provided technical equipment support to the Balkan Laboratories department, which includes 18 laboratories, a conference hall and administrative units, within the International Balkan University.

The Republic of Türkiye’s Ambassador to Skopje, Fatih Ulusoy; the Head of the Department of Foreign Relations and Partnerships at TİKA, Uğur Tanyeli; the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors of the International Balkan University, Recep Süleyman Özdil; the Rector of the International Balkan University, Lütfi Sunar, many academicians and students attended the delivery ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Ulusoy stated that the International Balkan University not only represents the institutional cooperation between Türkiye and North Macedonia in the fields of education and culture but also enhances the bonds between the two friendly countries day by day.

Tanyeli, the Head of the Department of Foreign Relations and Partnerships at TİKA, expressed that as TİKA, they have supported the technical infrastructure of 18 laboratories within the university as the latest sign of the long-standing cooperation with the International Balkan University. Tanyeli also noted that the laboratories will also be utilized for healthcare services in addition to education.
