- The Avrasya Etüdleri Journal primarily publishes articles, reviews, and book analyses related to politics, foreign policy, social issues, economy, culture, language, religion, nationalities, environment, media, and military affairs concerning the geography in which Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency operates. The journal prefers analytical and original studies that emphasize current international norms and regional issues rather than merely descriptive works. Both Turkish and English articles are accepted for publication in the journal.
- Manuscripts should be written in 12-point font using Arial or Times New Roman font, with single line spacing.
- Although there is no strict standard length for manuscripts, articles between 6,000 and 9,000 words, including endnotes, are preferred.
- All diagrams, tables, and graphs included in the manuscripts should be systematically numbered.
- A cover page must be included at the beginning of the article containing the title of the article, the name(s) of the author(s), ORCID ID(s), institutional affiliation(s), e-mail address(es), telephone number(s), and Turkish Identification Number(s).
- At the beginning of the text, the title, abstract, and keywords of the article should be provided in both Turkish and English.
- Footnote Standard:
Footnotes should be provided at the bottom of the page using a numbered footnote system. They should be inserted using the “Insert Footnote” command on the computer and written in 10-point font size. Articles cited in footnotes should be placed within quotation marks, while book titles should be italicized. The titles of books, articles, and documents should conform to the original text. In studies published in foreign languages, conjunctions and abbreviations should be consistent with the language of the text.
Sources should be cited in full bibliographic form at first mention (including publisher, place of publication, and publication date); in subsequent footnotes, they should be cited in the form of “Ibid., p. (pp.) …”.If a specific page range is provided, “pp.” should be used. In later references, either the full citation or only the author’s name, title of the source, and page number may be used. - Bibliography (reference) Standard:
The list of references consulted should be added at the end of the article under the heading “References”. The references should be arranged alphabetically according to the authors’ surnames. In cases where there is more than one author, the surname of the first author should be taken as the basis, while the other authors should be written in the format of (name surname). Authors’ names should be written in full.

- Avrasya Etüdleri is a peer-reviewed journal. The Editorial Board reserves the right to publish or reject articles by taking referees’ opinions into consideration. In cases where the articles to be published in the journal contradict the publication policy of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, the Editorial Board is authorized to make corrections or omissions in the texts, taking the author’s views into account.
- The authors agree, declare, and undertake that all rights related to their works are transferred, free of charge and without limitation, to the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency Presidency within the framework of the TİKA Copyright and Translation Work Assignment Agreement to be signed prior to the publication of the journal.
- Articles and writings published in this journal may be quoted and cited provided that the source is properly acknowledged.
