Albania – Tirana Program Coordination Office
TİKA began its activities in Albania in 1996 through the Tirana Program Coordination Office. Since then, numerous projects have been implemented to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
TİKA’s initiatives focus on enhancing capacity in the education and health sectors, improving service delivery, rebuilding institutional infrastructure and revitalizing production sectors and employment opportunities. Additionally, many historical monuments have been restored and preserved as part of efforts to protect shared historical and cultural heritage and promote tourism development.
