Kazakhstan – Astana Program Coordination Office
TİKA office was established in Almaty in 1995 and relocated to Astana in 2008.
In addition to educational projects, TİKA’s flexible scope of activities encompasses social infrastructure and services, various administrative and civil infrastructures, cultural initiatives, economic development and other sectors. Since 1992, TİKA has carried out nearly 500 projects and activities in numerous countries. Notably, TİKA’s first restoration project—the restoration of the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi—was carried out in Kazakhstan.
